National Support Center Provides 115 Thanksgiving Meals for Local Families

Carrollton, Texas | November 19, 2020

Each year, Intrepid USA raises money and collects food donations for giving back on Thanksgiving with meals for local families.

Every meal includes a $10 Wal-Mart Gift Card to help purchase a turkey, stuffing, ingredients for green bean and sweet potato casseroles, cake mix, and more to make an entire Thanksgiving feast.

This year, the 14th Annual Thanksgiving Tree campaign at the National Support Center in Carrollton, TX, provided 115 complete Thanksgiving meals for families in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District!

Thank you to everyone that donated their time and money to make this possible, and a special thank you to Jennifer Timm, John Shrieves, Norman Vickers, David Gilligan, Jacob Halliday, Shawn Marshall, Kaustubh Puranik, Devin Helfrich, Rikki Fuqua, Pam Morris, and Steven Sullivan for helping out on delivery day.

Last, but certainly not least, a BIG shout-out to Kristy Steger, Intrepid USA’s Executive Leadership Assistant, for her hard work and dedication in organizing the annual Thanksgiving Tree campaign again this year! Kristy, this would not be possible without your leadership and tireless effort. Thank you!

Happy Thanksgiving!
