“I am writing to thank you and Intrepid for the wonderful health care you provided me. You and Intrepid truly saved my life.
I am a 70 year old truck owner. I have never been sick a day in my life until diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma fourteen months ago.
I clearly recall the day you visited me at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville Indiana. I saw hope and a future in your face when up to that point I felt only fear, self pity and depression.
For the next six months your people: Nurses, Physical and Occupational Therapist visited me twice weekly and I slowly got better. No matter how ill from chemotherapy I was I felt compelled to get out of bed and exercise daily. Prior to Intrepid’s help, I nearly died from bi-lateral double pneumonia due to my lowered immune system from the chemotherapy.
I am now healthy and driving my 18 wheeler full-time. I miss all the wonderful attention I received from all of those that came out and kept me focused on healing and getting my health back.
I am indebted to you and Intrepid. I would not be here today without you all.”
