Intrepid USA Healthcare Services staff is thankful every day for the opportunity to provide quality nursing and therapy services to people in the comfort of their own home. We realize how fortunate we are to touch the lives of so many people on a daily basis but we want to do more as the holiday season approaches.
Thanksgiving is the time of year that we feast with friends and family and give thanks for the blessings that have been bestowed upon us. Unfortunately though, many families in our communities will not be able to enjoy the feast that is raditionally associated with the Thanksgiving Holiday. Many of these families do not have enough to eat day-to-day.
We recognize this need and pledged to make this Thanksgiving Holiday better for families in our community who do not have enough to eat. Intrepid USA Healthcare Services Corporate Service Center recently completed their seventh annual campaign for the “Thanksgiving Tree”. The Thanksgiving Tree is a wonderful way to give back to our community and alleviate hunger amongst our neighbors. The program provides an opportunity to work as a team, accomplish goals and receive the satisfaction that comes from assisting others. This year our Corporate Service Center was able to provide meals for 80 families.
Intrepid USA Healthcare Services sponsored a nation-wide Thanksgiving food drive throughout their 82 agencies. The Southaven, MS agency provided meals to 20 families in their community this week.
