Eyes on Knoxville: Tailgating fundraiser will raise money for Alzheimer’s

In honor of National Alzheimer’s month, Intrepid USA Knoxville hosted an old fashion cookout to raise money to support one of Intrepid’s largest referral sources, West Hills Rehab Facility to fund for the development of their Multi Sensory rooms for patients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Ted Bingham lived up to his reputation as grill master and all-round caterer, and the tables were laden with a wide variety of potluck dishes. Best of all, Intrepid USA raised $545 during the 3 hour event!!  Overwhelmed by the generosity, staff members from West Hills Rehab Facility were also onsite to capture the success of the event.  And to show appreciation to our law enforcement, all remaining food items were donated to the Knoxville Police Department.
